Most of the time a trained dog is merely a faithful, loving, gentle and well behaved member of your household. Perhaps the most important contribution he makes is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that he is on duty while you and your family go about your daily routine.
Abby Kennels holds the highest standard for their breeding program which begins with proven German shepherds. All our females and males are first tested for stability and confirmation. All hips are checked by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.
All dogs in our breeding program have a confirmation and working title either in, Herding, AKC or Schutzhund. We do not breed dogs that have not gone through one or more of these stringent programs. This is for the well-being of the breed, the individual dogs, and their owners. We promote our strong, healthy, vibrant German Shepherds that are secure in their environment. This is our code of ethics!!
